2024 GROUP EXHIBITION. IRAQI -AMERICAN FORUM

My participation with two paintings in a group  exhibition commemorating the opening of the Iraqi-American Forum, held in Northern Virginia, USA, and covering Washington, D.C., and the states of Virginia and Maryland, took place on February 25, 2024. The esteemed architect Dr. Hisham Munir was honored at the event, which was attended by a select group of Iraqi and American intellectuals. This forum is considered a vital center for the continuation of Iraqi-American cultural relations and a hub for learning about the activities of the Iraqi community in America across various scientific, literary, artistic, cultural, and other fields. The bright  and vivid colors  in May Alsouz’s paintings  are art for the sake of art only . They  do not bear  connotations and concepts  of a certain organization  or a  special society  . Her art does not  Symbolize  a particular group of people or a party. The colors May Alsouz uses in  most of her paintings are primarily inspired by the pure , vivid  colors and   Beautiful symbols  that are heavily used In daily life in the countryside of her original country, Iraq.
