Once he saw that bell attached to his collar, he thought his life was over. After days of angst about how he would be received down at the bar, he shows up, buys a round and everything seems okay with his pals, they were friendly, joking and the same old crowd. So all was well. They just don’t invite him mouse hunting anymore.
