A tuber's recurring nightmare. Here, one of the Baker Boys travels north on 101, escaping out of the L.A. Basin and at Atascadero he's as hungry as a 7 year locust after 6 and a half years underground. He eyes that In 'N Out Burger on the left at the San Anselmo Road off ramp, and pulls off.
He gets his order, luckily finds a booth and everything is fresh and wonderful, and the aroma's are wonderful and then after the burger, starts in on the fresh-cut fries and wait a minute!!! I'M a potato and I'M eating fries!!!
I had a friend, Ted, that could make this same look when confronted by something that astounded him. But his eyes were a little straighter. When you are a potato, you have no control.
