SHAKESPEARE'S SECOND CAT

SHAKESPEARE'S SECOND CAT

When you are one of the cats of the greatest writer in the English language, and live in the second largest house in Stratford, it would be a tragedy to not dress the part.

Here's Shakespeare's second cat, ready for another night filled with drama and poetry, and maybe a few plays starring the ol' ball o' yarn.

This cat's name? Lavache, (the Clown of the Household from "All's Well That Ends Well").  Legend has it, listened to all 38 plays, napped through about 150 sonnets, and ripped up some of Dad's best work.

All this history is captured on one of the smallest of canvases, a 4 x 4 inch gallery wrap over wooden stretcher bars, and painted on all visible edges. Then to help preserve history, coated with everlasting acrylic varnish.

It's the purrfect gift for a Lover of the Bard.
