| Doll's dress is based on two pieces of wet felted material, embellished with beadwork, pearls, and embroidery, edged with hand-dyed silk ribbon that's been needle felted on. Her head and hands are sculpted of polymer clay and covered with silk fibers. Her neck and arms are wrapped with machine stitched yarn cords. The piece stands about 18" tall. It was completed August, 2010 |
