| This artwork was inspired by the recent fires in San Diego, Fall 2007. I visited our friends whose house was still standing but trees and out buildings were destroyed. I found these items in the ash and debris. The title is the opposite of the name of a movie which happened to be playing at the same time as the fires(Things We Lost in the Fire). It is mixed media collage, stitching and some encaustic. |
