| The other day a short story of mine titled, "My Grandmother's Button Jars*" was published and it is a childhood memory of playing with those buttons. Today I was in the mood to paint and decided I would work on a daily painting which is usually a miniature. However, I did this 12" x 16" Mixed Media painting on Fredrix art canvas using Dr. Martins Hydrus watercolors and Dr. Martins white acrylic paint. I worked about 5 hours on it and I am quite pleased with it . It is matted and framed in a 16" x 20" barn board frame. |
