Will Hanlon is an emerging artist who lives in Peekskill, NY. He is originally from Lincoln, NE. Will has
spent 40+ years on Wall Street and playing jazz in clubs, and is now retired as
a full-time artist.
He started art in
2010 with his child covering a poster of a Pokeman character with colored map
pins. When finished, the effect inspired Will to view pointillism anew combined
with the tactile feel of a sculpted surface.
Will has continued to
develop new creations using Push Pins and other found objects like wire, paper
clips, ping pong balls and even hair ties.
He incorporates his
life work in computers and jazz music into each piece - as both geometric and
abstract expressions of the world from his eyes. Order and Chaos.
Will has shown in
group and solo shows in many Westchester venues, and maintains hundreds of works in
private archives.
