Pastel Pencils are my favourite medium. I can capture detail as well as blend. They can produce amazingly vibrant colours as well as subtle tones. When pastels are mixed together they retain a purity of color which is unique to this medium.
I love painting/drawing portraits of people and animals and in doing so try to capture the essence of who they are.
