Ship District

Ship District
Ship District

$20

This is an illustration based on a recent dream I had (Nov. 26, 2013).This illustration recreates, as best I could, the look, the tone and the mood of the dream setting. In the dream there was a new district in Portland, Oregon located somewhere between NW Yeon Ave. and NW Front Ave. Large decommissioned ships were dry-docked and merged with buildings. They were redesigned into shopping centers, office buildings and condominiums. It was a beautiful serene setting. I spent part of the dream walking on the sand talking with a young woman about the landlocked ships.
