The small figure was made while I was in the
Expressive Arts Therapy Program at CIIS, during an experiential weekend
intensive. It made its way to the canvas about a year later. The piece
itself has multiple layers of significance and its truth depends on the
mood of the viewer... sometimes it's sacrilegious (the thought of god as
a voyeur) and sometimes it's comforting (the great mother looking
lovingly down upon her child).
