The river Torridge at Beam viaduct
The river Torridge at Beam viaduct

This painting is part of a series documenting the catchment area of the river Torridge in North Devon. The river meanders lazily at this stage before it reaches the sea, and is crossed by the Tarka Trail (the former rail line) several times. The viaduct I believe used to be an aquaduct carrying the Victorian era canal to Torrington. 16" x 12" (40.5 x 30cm) acrylic on deep edge Loxley canvas. Strung and ready to hang.
