Exmoor clifs in autumn 1
Exmoor clifs in autumn 1

£45

Part of a series of 4 small paintings from the Exmoor coast near Trentishoe. Late autumn colours dominated, some trees still holding on to their leaves. An impression of this beautiful coastline in a much-loved national park. The work I think shows my appreciation of the "railway poster" style from the 1930s, using bold contrasts of warm and cool colours. The 20 x 25 cm deep edge canvas is ready to hang, but can be enhanced by a tray-frame.
