now THAT'S hysterical! i hope that you see the humor in it. what i mean is, that 'still lifes', as a genre, are typically pastel flowers in some vase, or on a table, or on a something :),with the visual emphasis balancing between the flowers and their display/vase/embroidery setting in the painting. the name of the painting is also a 'slap in the face' for that genre. the incredible detail of the piece, shows how serious you were about this particular expression. bravo on the whole thing!
