In the BYOB Paint Class tonight, one of the participants, Laina, discovered that she was in the midst of an artist, Jay Bird, whose art she collects. Laina purchased one of Bird's piecesl about 14 years ago at a yard sale; and recently purchased the original, a much larger piece of the same painting from an estate sale. In conversation, Laina learned Bird's name and discovered she was the artist whose work she had purchased. What a coincidence. Laina was very delighted and excited, to say the least. Jay Bird, has earned a living as a professional artist.
