Howls of a Primitive Abstract Painter

Sometimes it's fun just to putz around with different canvases, textures, paint delivery systems and not worry about the outcome.

This is on a 60" x 60" canvas, with oils laid on from the tube, with palette knives and paintbrushes and squeegees.

Last night I had the honor of being one of 15 artists to participate in a group show by Jane's Studios (@janesstudios on Instagram). It was a beautiful show with a diverse collection of art: paintings, photographs, drawings, jewelry, and sculpture. There were also 2 live painters.
