We stopped in Colorado and visited a couple old friends. Vanessa was all for going out to plein air. Her first time. We chose this antique windmill in the town where she lives. 2013 We spent the day painting her area. this simple bucolic scene was interrupted by many dusty passersby that stopped to visit, a dog bite, wild horses and some chance wind gusts. aaaah, plein air!
