An amazing scene looking at two 1940s vintage firetrucks parked quietly in a field in Hillsboro, NM. In their heyday were the most corrupt town in the southwest. This was a year ago and today one truck has been cannibalized to restore the second truck. This painting is now a historical record of what once was. The owners of this land did invite us in for refreshment and he have since encountered them at the quaint yet busy Hillsboro Cafe on Main St (Hwy 152).
