The famous B60 Rolls Royce engineThe Rolls Royce Engine was in a very poor state. From visual inspection I could initially see that:
- Cylinder one was contaminated because the spark plug wasn't present
- The Engine oil was contaminated with fuel most commonly due to failed diaphragms in the mechanical fuel pump
- The exhaust was rotten from the manifold back
- The cooling system was empty due to a missing hose and perished pipework
