After clutch replacement the gearbox oil was drained, Inspected (Minimal metal filings were found on the drain plug bung) and replaced with fresh SAE 30 - note this is the same grade oil as the engine uses. After being degreased the casing received a fresh coat of Nato green - not the original yellow which will have been used however pictures of the original colour where taken for future reference.
