Assembling reconditioned split rims.

The two halves of the wheel along with nuts and bolts had to be sand blasted locally.

They were then epoxy primered and painted with red oxide before a final coat of nato green.

Assembling the huge split rims to the run flat tire required 4 lengths of M10 studding,washers and nuts. Tyre soap was applied to the rim and tire to help aid assembly. Once drawn together the two halves were bolted together and torqued down.
