light in the center is the God that oversees both worlds and the spiral is the
symbolic meeting or resting place. The
wavy lines at the bottom of the painting represent the fire (spirit), water
(birth), and blood (life force) that come together to create the bodies we
inhabit on the earth. The U-shaped figures are symbolic of individual
entities—the ones on the blue side are those of us in this physical world. They
are not in orderly lines, representing the ways we get lost and face away from
truth. On the orange side, the figures radiate out from the light, asserting
that on the other side all is understood and made right.
