ART IS MUSIC FOR MY SOUL Art is a continuous journey for me to explore and express myself. I hope you will enjoy the images as much as I did while creating them. I am honored to be in the 2022 and the soon to be published 2023 edition of Marquis "Who's Who"!!
I began painting after I retired in 1999. I had no formal art training but was fortunate to study with some very fine local artists and continue to do so. I started with oils and a couple of years later discovered watercolor. My newest love is pastel. I enjoy a variety of subjects as you will see on the gallery. Many of my paintings were born from photographs taken while traveling worldwide; however, living in the beautiful San Diego area is a perfect inspiration.
