About
I live and work in the St. Louis, MO area and have been exhibiting my paintings for nearly 30 years; additionally, I have been teaching studio art at the collegiate level since 1999. My work is a part of numerous private, corporate, and institutional collections including those of the Mulvane Art Museum (Topeka, KS), the Beach Museum of Art (Manhattan, KS), Sprint Corporation (Kansas City, MO), US Bank (St. Louis, MO), and others. The images I create are significantly influenced by such artists as Edward Hopper, Richard Diebenkorn, Giorgio Morandi, and Giorgio de Chirico. Like these artists, I use architectural and natural landscapes as vehicles to portray a contemplative and instrospective content.
