About
I was born in Seattle and live and work on Camano Island.
Education:
My work is influenced by studying with many well-known artists such as Skip Lawrence, Peggy Zehring and Alex Powers. I also visit galleries on a regular basis and read books and articles pertaining to art.
Recent Honors and Awards:
2021 Exhibited and sold my juried painting during the Anacortes Fine Art Exhibit 2020 Juried into the New Beginnings Juried Art Show at the Guilded Gallery.

Fun Painting Classes!
Explore your creativity with individual guidance in small sized classes instructed by a well-known artist, Dotti Burton. All levels are welcome. The fee for 4 classes, 4 ½ hours each, is $150.00. Classes are September 12, 19, 26 and October 3. Contact Dotti at 206-714-3647.
Creative Art Workshop
Dotti Burton’s creative art class begins Wednesdays March 6, 13, 20 and 27,
at the Lincoln Hill Retirement Center in Stanwood. All levels are welcome. Painting,
Mixed Media and Collage will be taught. Class size is limited and is $150 for the four sessions.
