Jinari Mountain
Jinari’s art spans painting, drawing, textiles, and installation. Her work is held in private collections in Australia and overseas; she has worked as a commercial artist and has curated group shows and community art events.
My practice, while ever evolving, commonly examines intersections of ecological cycles, ancestral narratives, and material transformation.
Influenced by my cultural heritage and family history, I reflect on intergenerational trauma and resilience, engaging mythic and environmental themes while posing questions about regeneration and persistence.
