How I see it
Making Art is my way of giving creative expression to subjects that I think are interesting and important. Seasonal changes, movement, transition, and impermanence are what attract me as a painter and photographer. My work is more contemporary than traditional, with a stronger emphasis on color and organic design. In the natural world are the timeless qualities of harmony, balance and integration that I need here and now. Birds and forests forever!
My human subjects are absorbed practitioners, engaged in their purpose. I love watching musicians, dancers and classical singers. My themes are frequently revisited but not strictly forced as a series. It is easy to go on and on with a personal statement, but a visual expression really has to...
