I'm passionate about photography, as a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I have for years been a teacher of digital photography and technology. Making images is a joyful moment of focus and play. When I take a photo I am present in that moment, focused on a feeling or perspective that I want to hold, save and share, documenting life. Inspiration often flows from experiencing a sense of place within an urban landscape. Other inspirations are from the photography of greats Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Joel Meyerowitz, all scenic photographers whose work I admire.
