ABOUT ME I'm a Texas native, who graduated with a BFA in 3D art in 2007. My work is sculptural, rather than functional, and is recognizable by its abstract forms with clean lines and beautiful colors. While my main focus is abstract ceramic sculpture, I also make two lines on the side; "Fun Art" and my newest line "Rude Art". I am happy to accept custom orders and commissions. My work was selected for the Springfield Art Museum's MOAK 4-State Regional Exhibition in 2008 and 2010, and has been in several exhibitions nationwide. Ceramic Sculpture by Lecia Joy Designs

Ceramic sculpture is my passion - I work almost exclusively in slab-building techniques and abstract forms. My work focuses on shape and form, plus the smoothness of the surface. I mix all my Cone 6 glazes, but use AMACO glazes for Raku firings.

Fun Art

Like the title implies, this is a side line of Fun Art! My friends will tell you I have a nerdy/geeky side with a healthy dose of silly thrown in. Here is where I explore it.

Rude Art - MATURE content

This is a side line I've been working on. Political and social commentary plus good old-fashioned swearing. The exact item pictured may have already been sold, but I probably have a duplicate.
