Born and raised in Colombia, an engineer by profession, and happy to let the right side of my brain take over.
My work has a strong influence taken from the colors and moods of my native Colombia and the light in my evergreen Mercer Island in Washington State - my home for some years.
Attracted by the pop art culture of the 50's and 60's my themes evolve around recognizable objects and themes of today's pop culture. Humor, wittiness are important aspects on my creative process. This sometimes has been expressed in a more intimate way where my subjects are my own icons, usually dear things or people in my life.
