About
I received a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Since then, I have painted representational and nonrepresentational oil paintings with an emphasis on paint quality and light. I have exhibited my paintings in one- woman shows, group shows, and juried shows. Most recently, I received awards at the Charleston Artist Guild Juried Show and a North Carolina juried show open to women entitled “Through Women’s Eyes.”
I teach studio art courses and art history at The Art Institute of Charleston andI reside in Charleston SC. I am represented by Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill NC and City Art Gallery in Greenville NC.
