I have been awarded an "Artist Support" grant from the Broward County Division of Cultural Affairs to present a solo exhibition and related public events in 2026. Check back for dates of the exhibit.
In March and April I will be attending the artists' residency at Moulin a Nef in France, a program of the Virginia Center for Creative Arts.

My art practice radically changed in 2017 when I took a clay class. For over 40 years I had been a painter and known as a teacher of fresco painting. But since that first clay class I have been working full-time in ceramics. My ceramic sculpture quickly evolved from vessels to expressive sculpture that explore dualities in many aspects of life and nature.

Just joined zhibit and found it remarkably easy to create a website! Now i have to get better photos of the artwork and download images of frescoes and works on paper. While i am looking for a new studio this has been a good way to spend time.
