About
CERAMICS
After many years as a painter I started working in ceramics in 2018. Ceramics is now my primary studio art practice. I use hand-building techniques to create tabletop sculpture, vessels and wall reliefs. The work evolves from the material and process of manipulating clay, often exploring the relationship of the interior space and exterior of the form. My ceramics are exhibited locally. I teach ceramics classes for Broward Public Schools adult education program.
FRESCO PAINTING
As a painter I primarily worked in the traditional technique of buon fresco . I painted portable, easel-size frescoes on a variety of support surfaces, such as ceramic tiles, and have created fresco murals in New York, Maine, and California. I taught fresco...

Just joined zhibit and found it remarkably easy to create a website! Now i have to get better photos of the artwork and download images of frescoes and works on paper. While i am looking for a new studio this has been a good way to spend time.
