This painting is about how we manufacture 'truth'. The frame is reminiscent of a reliquary - a shrine where objects of veneration are placed for the faithful. The interior figure has several arms depicting the many variations in which an event can be interpreted. The shape, colors, and plastic eye all serve to depict the feeling of arbitrariness that underlies what our species considers to be true. (apprx: 24x20 mixed media)
