From one world to the other
From one world to the otherA shaman/priest has to travel through a portal to enter the spiritual world. This portal is portrayed differently in different cultures. It can be anything from a tree to a ritual but there tends to be an amazing similarity amongst the portals through the ages and diverse civilizations.. In this painting it is a body of water, a very ancient portal.
