This is from my 1969-1972 period of spiritual development - as described above. This piece consisted of a large industrial black plastic garbage bag filled with crumpled pages of the daily news paper, shaped, and placed on a chair. It was my submission to the prestigious, annual,'Finger Lakes Art Show' held in Rochester, NY. It was accepted but the show installers destroyed it by opening the bag, throwing out its contents, while looking for the artwork they thought was inside. When they told the curator that they could not find the artwork they were told that they had destroyed it.
