This painting is about letting events unfold at their own pace...being patient, centered, calm. If an event or project is rushed, it usually comes out badly. This is particularly true of events that partner with the 'muse' (or 'spirit' if you prefer). In Biblical terms it is called the 'fullness of time', or '40ty days and 40ty nights'. Generally the encounter with the spirit evolves quietly over time rather than in a dramatic moment...which is why it takes so many edits to get the artwork 'right'.
