A Bushel and a Peck
A Bushel and a Peck

Made by Barbara Bell Dubovsky.  Completed in 1991.  Another block party quilt won at the Dallas Quilter's guild meeting.   When you contribute at least one block you can win 15 blocks in the drawing.  I used nine of these blocks, each made by a different quilter, to make a small lap quilt.   It has appliqued apples on a white background, each block has the name of the maker.  Hand quilted.  This humble quilt made the cover of McCall's Quilting, October 1997.  Also won 2nd place in the Founder's Day Quilt Show in Emory, TX in 2011.
