Made by Barbara Bell Dubovsky. Hand appliqued and hand quilted original pictorial quilt. 46.5" x 41". This quilt was created as an entry to the quilt contest in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Coast Guard in 1990. Its a depiction of the Coast Guard training ship - The Eagle. Has alphabetical code flags as a border. "Semper Paratus" quilted between the dates below the ship. It is included in the book Nautical Voyages for Quilters by Betty Boyink. Won 2nd place ribbon in The Dallas Quilt Show 1991.
