Made by Barbara Bell Dubovsky. Machine pieced, some hand appliqué and hand quilted. This pattern is from a book by Georgia Bonesteel. It is a traditional pattern called Bow Tie but has an added cat block. I chose fabrics to make the cat look like our Siamese cat named Kat. Many of the scraps of fabric in the bow ties were donated by friends and family. Cats are quilted in the border. This was made for my daughter's twin size bed when she was four years old. Finished in 1988.
