Pastels are such a great and creative medium! Like watercolour it is hard to correct mistakes (one wrong strike and you're out), which is very different from working in acrylics or oils. But unlike watercolours you can use your fingertips as implements, rubbing and smoothing crayon marks, blending colours as you see fit.
Easdon Tor is like a mini Dartmoor, a hill all on its own with some great granite outcrops on the top, views of 360° . On the horizon you can see Hay Tor...  36 x 23 cm pastels on 160 gr acid free paper, fixed.  Unframed.
