Continuing my fascination with the rugged North Devon coast, this is a
view from the SW coast path, looking down on Speke's Mill Mouth. The
steep hill is called St Catherine's Tor, and Hartland Quay is just out
of sight. Lundy Island is visible on the horizon. My painting style
is still evolving and in some ways I feel like I am "unlearning" to
paint, in that the brushes seem to do the work, and realism to a certain
degree goes out of the window! If you have walked part of the 100s
of miles long South West Coast Path you'll recognise the grandeur of the
views, and the freedom one can feel being on the edge of Europe
(America is the next landmass far to the West).... Oils on a 24" x 18" (61 x 46 cm) deep edge canvas. This work does not require a frame (white edges) and comes strung and ready to hang. Packed securely for safe delivery. Use PayPal for secure payments.
