At the Uffington White Horse
At the Uffington White Horse

The Uffington White Horse is the most elegant and by far the oldest (3000  years old?) of the white horses carved in the chalk hills of Southern England. This impressionistic image is based on a spring visit, with flowering rape seed fields clearly visible in the background. Winsor & Newton Galeria acrylics on a 40 x 50 cm Daler Rowney quality canvas, professionally framed and ready to hang.
