From a plein air sketching session on the foreshore near Westward Ho! at
low tide, this image of the arced and severely eroded rockface depicts
its raw and colourful nature well I feel. The coast is a wild and
energetic place and the free pastel marks reflect this. I have used a
little acrylic paint in places which technically makes this a "mixed
media" piece I guess. Size 36 x 25 cm. Mounted and framed behind glass size 53 x 43 x 2.5 cm. Will be packed with extreme care.
