There was a hint of pink in the sky that evening, and the old harbour
town of Bideford was cast in a blue shade. This evening it wasn't
Victorian novelist Charles Kingsley's "Little white town" for sure! A
cruise ship is moored on the quay and the signature blue crane that
empties large bulk carrying ships when the tide is high is visible too.
A
rare townscape amongst my many nature inspired works, I think this
painting stands out as an urban painting where nature nearly steals the
show after all.
