Ah! Paris in the Spring! This waterproof fabric with its "Map of Paris" print makes the perfect whimsical rain gear for your own dearest Bleuette.
I used patterns from La Semaine de Suzette for the coat, hat and boots.
Both the coat and hat are lined in silk. The front closes with beautiful dyed mother-of-pearl buttons and working button holes. The top-stitching throughout is carefully executed by hand. Her playful pink boots are leather, top-stitched, tiny working buttons and fit both vintage and reproduction Bleuettes. Her white cotton ribbed thigh-high socks are included. The" faux" umbrella is my own design and completes this darling rainy day ensemble! All parts of this costume are sized for both the vintage and reproduction Bleuette.
