I have captured this style with elegant silks using couture sewing techniques. "Paris" is a favorite style among Bleuette
mamans, for its textures and tailored details. The Bluebird Textiles version has employed a gorgeous patterned silk velvet (also known as "burn-out velvet) layered on top of a spring green duoppioni silk. Crisp white linen serves as the contrasting collar, cuffs, and front band. Silk covered buttons grace the front while two hidden hooks provide the closure.
Included is her fabulous
chapeau; Swiss paglina hat braid embellished with a silk rosette, unlined and finished with the Bluebird Textiles label.
