Revealed in the summer issues of La Semaine de Suzette, Bleuette goes to the seaside almost every year, and usually with a new bathing costume to splash in the waves. The earliest versions are my favorite especially this one from 1916.
Her sand- colored suit is a broken twill cotton that forms a subtle stripe effect. Her collar and contrasting bands is Japanes kimono silk of a printed plaid. White cotton braid, and tiny glass buttons are details that elevate this suit from sporty to chic. You will love her matching bonnet and cotton espadrilles!
