Manteau D'Hiver 1913

 Using the L.S.D.S. pattern interpreted by Martha Nichols, I created this delightful winter ensemble from a herringbone tweed, 100% wool, fully lined with silk. Creamy  faux fur  trims the matching hat as well as the sleeves.and painted buttons adorn the front as well as the sides of the half-belt.  Hand top-stitching embellishes the silk collar. Included with the coat and hat, is an embellished woolen scarf of soft loden to keep her dainty neck warm! I sized this ensemble to fit both vintage and reproduction Bleuettes.
