Today is "Flea Market Sunday" on Lincoln Road. If Fran were here, we'd meet for brunch and a good long shop. But, sadly, Fran is not here to look for oversize vintage glasses, pins, pearls, the things she loves to collect. Years ago on my birthday Fran saw me try on a gold band, someone's wedding ring once - $30. She bought it for me. "Does this mean we're married now?" I said. We both laughed. I collect simple rings, mostly sterling, size 8 for my middle right finger. Paul Morrissey bought me a vintage friendship ring here too, the hands opened & closed - $15.
