Kaiparowits at Sunset$450
Lake Powell National Recreation Area is located on the Utah
border with Arizona and contains world class fossil remains in the Kaiparowits formation. The
soils are deeply eroded and show little color in normal daylight. As twilight arrives and the low
rays of the sun play across the landscape, color deepens and harmonies are quite striking.
